I am actually writing to thank Running Princess for the support and encouragement you gave to female runners for as long as you did. My first encounter with you was in Galveston at an April Run Like a Diva event several years ago. In my opinion, Running Princess filled a void for women with kindness and humor to claim our space on the paths no matter our sizes and abilities. You engendered acceptance of all and self-pride. As a newbie to 5- and 10Ks, I certainly appreciated it. I'm just sorry your home base was Oregon; I would've been a regular in-person customer! Again, thank you for all you did to foster women's fitness. May the new year bring each of you wonderful moments as you explore new paths! Thanks for blazing the ones you already did. Take care.
